Do I Deserve One, Yet?
Regardless of the fact that Ian Peaty at Quantum Learning “..in my capacity as … well, ME!..” chose me for the Butterfly Award ‘for the coolest blog I ever know‘ and thanking him for the gesture, I am constantly aware of what I have yet to do reminded by the famous Robert Frost quote
The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.
My association with Ian, Mike King, Michael White, Angela Atkinson, Megan Bayliss, Larry Brauner has been quite useful as I feel challenged to aim for the position they enjoy in blogosphere. I have also earned the support of best online friends like Sebastyne, Angel, Lucel Juliana, Monica Borden, Sara, Kiran Sawhney, Ravon whose work motivates me.
As I reminisced in the immediate previous post, I want to constantly evolve. And Friends like Ian with gestures like this provide the right stimulus to keep at it. Thanks once again Ian.
Now for the Rules.
- a) Put the logo on your blog [Y]
b) Add a link to the person who awarded it to you [Y]
c) Link 10 other bloggers of whom you want to give this award to.
In compliance of the third of the above, or rather the privilege of being able to do so for the first time, I confer this award to the following in order of my gratitude for them and where possible, with reasons:
- I. Larry Brauner: Online Social Networking-these were Larry’s words of encouragement back in October 2008
With your intelligence and dedication you will go very far.
As you build your blog, I suggest that you focus on two things:
1- Write quality posts with the idea in mind that once they “fall off” the top of your blog, they’re “on their own”.
2- Give your readers a way to subscribe by e-mail into your auto responder, and encourage that form of subscription.
I wish you all the best,
II. Sebastyne: My Dear Hard Drive-for something more tangible than the Ode
III. Mike King: Learn This-whose comprehensive articles and intense interaction & feed back I admire.
IV. Earthlingorgeous: Earthly Explorations-who spared time to write words of support when I was down under dumps, in response to my post back in November 08.
V. Kiran Sawhney: Fitnesolution-who has no dearth of awards but who for me was the one constant online follower when it was all lonely, initially.
VI. Megan Bayliss: Imagineif-who I first found is a blogger for a strong cause and is also an online help.
VII. Michael White: Saphrym-who I find very exciting!
VIII. Holly Goodyear Inspiration-for inspirational articles.
IX. William McCamment: Dead Rooster-the highly intriguing blogger with his teasing humorous articles.
X. Monica Borden: Mysognsoflife-for not only one of the best captivating titles but also for being very responsive reader.
It is over to the honored, to honor who they are pleased with!
